Our handmade disgusted face is a fun and unique gift, especially when you mix & match with our other quirky face expressions to create your own narrative. What story will your faces tell? Great pieces of unique art to stick in small spaces around the house. Mr Yuk is reborn in the third dimension. If you are seeking approval this is not your guy.

Olander Earthworks Faces are meant to be inclusive and playful while evoking a primal reaction. This spectrum of emotional and gestural caricatures captures some of the basic universal expressions we all share and identify with. These small cement sculptures can sneak into nooks and crannies indoors or out. Whether displayed prominently or carefully hidden, these hand-finished expressions allow the owner to create their own visual narratives and add a little personality wherever they may choose. They do well on their own or grouped with other faces & make fun, unique gifts.

The available colors for this expression are displayed in this listing. Color can play an important role in the vibe of each face and have a dramatic effect on your environment. We try to offer color tones that can fit into any personal space. Our terra-cotta, mustard and slate colors blend naturally with earthtones, red and green can pop in a bright modern aesthetic, and grey can fit any minimalistic monochrome surrounding. If you don’t specify, we will choose grey for you. Classic and timeless, the antiqued grey tone offers the highest contrast and rarely seems out of place.

Though each face is a reproduction, we are not machines! We take delight in the subtle variations of each face we produce. Expect the sculptures you receive to have unique characteristics in surface color and saturation that may differ slightly from the images above. We closely inspect each piece for our standard of quality and we approve all work before it leaves the studio.

The backs of the faces are hand titled by the artist, stamped with a makers mark and provide a hole that allows the work to hang flush to the wall on a nail or screw. Keep in mind that tilting a face a little to the left or right can sometimes change the gaze and/or character of the expression. Have fun personalizing your faces and their locations!
